I am happy to announce that now our advertisers can run banner creative on the Zohark ad network on facebook. Many advertises have asked us to carry banners in our inventory and now we do. Well designed banners in combination with Zohark’s exceptional ad delivery will bring more facebook users to our advertisers’ landing pages.
Zohark’s partner app developers will make more money through higher click through rates and Zohark’s advertisers will bring in more customers. This is a huge win-win for everybody.
To run banners, the procedure is quick and easy. Just log in to Zohark.com or go to our facebook application and go to the campaign creation screen. Under “Advertisement Type,” select “Banner” and upload your banner image. Zohark can accept 468 x 60 banners and 646 x 60 banners. When your banner is uploaded, just fill in your click url and you’re ready to set up your targeting and bid prices.
Geotargeting is available for banner advertising and bids start at a low $0.10 per click.
If you have any comments, suggestions, or ideas, we’d love to hear them. Feel free to leave a comment here or in our facebook group.
Inside Facebook reports that facebook has flipped the switch on a development url that will let developers take a look at the soon-to-be-launched profile update.
I recommend that all of our developer friends take a peek at http://www.beta.facebook.com to make sure that all of their apps’ features still work and can leverage off of the new features. For your convenience, below is the entire post from Inside Facebook:
In a note to developers tonight, the Facebook Platform team announced that it has turned on www.beta.facebook.com a day in advance of tomorrow night’s weekly push in order to give developers a chance to bang around on the release candidate.
This could very well be the dev server for the upcoming profile redesign sandbox. In the very least, it’s a nice gesture by the team to increase the chances of finding bugs that could adversely affect developers before the update is pushed.
Lots of Zohark’s partner applications also advertise on our network. Recently, some developers have been asking for an easy way to transfer some of the money they have made into their advertising accounts.
In typical Zohark fashion, we listened and now present to you, the “Transfer to Advertiser” button. It’s a snap to use and your money is instantly available to run campaigns. Just go to the Zohark App, click on the “account info” tab in the upper right and look at the bottom of the page. There you will see your current balance and a button. Put in how much you want to transfer and press the button. Bingo - your money is now in your advertiser account.
Just click over to the “Advertiser Mode” and set up some campaigns - you’ll be glad you did.
As always, feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
Like all great online ventures, eventually we all need more servers.
Zohark keeps on increasing its capacity as more advertisers and more app developers sign on to Zohark.
Business Week reports that facebook is going to be buying another 50,000 servers with another $100,000,000 round of financing.
I know that this sound like self-promotion and I suppose it is a bit, BUT the real purpose of this blog post is to get your reactions. I just read something in my feed reader that really hit home for me, “get people to rely on your platform for their own success.”
That is what Zohark is all about. We want you to succeed, simple as that. That is why we built Zohark and why we continue to improve it. We want our developers to succeed by running high quality ads with strong bid prices and become wealthy. We want our advertisers to get high quality prospects and convert them into lifelong customers from our great network of applications.
Whenever we interact with any of our partners, we always ask the question, “what can we as a company do to make you more successful?” If you have the time, please post a comment on what Zohark can do to help you succeed. Those of you that have worked with us in the past know that this question is genuine and we will listen.
Here’s to you success!
I just returned from a conference in Toronto yesterday and I’ve had a day to think about what I saw, heard, and learned.
The most remarkable thing that I am taking away form the conference is that MOST of the people there think that facebook is a great place to be from an advertiser’s point of view. The remarkable thing is that MOST people didn’t know that facebook itself wasn’t the only way to get your message out.
Just about everyone I spoke to knew that there were applications running on facebook but few made the connection to the marketing potential. I got lots of surprised reactions when I told them that I can get them and their clients on facebook for as little as $0.10 per click.
If you have a product or service that you think will play well to a younger, more tech-savvy audience, you owe it to yourself to try out advertising in the apps on facebook.
As always, I am here to help and am excited to do so… just get in touch!
I hear this question all the time, “can I make money on facebook?” The answer to that is a resounding, “YES!”
Matt Marcin is an affiliate marketer that used Zohark to win a contest by earning $1,000.00 in commissions faster than everyone else. Matt did it in 1 DAY!
Want to be as successful as Matt? Read his blog post and give Zohark a try.
I wanted to alert our developers to something that I read this morning - there is a possible problem on the horizon for developers that are using flash in their apps.
The article is from Mashable and I suggest you read it. I would hate to see any of the great apps that Zohark works with go down.
WOW! Developers on facebook have certainly been busy. There are now nearly 20,000 applications running on the facebook platform with more being added daily.
Many of those new applications choose to advertise and monetize with Zohark. As these applications gain users and canvas page views, Zohark delivers great ads. Unfortunately, this morning we were overloaded and went down for a couple of hours. This is an unfortunate growing pain and was fixed very quickly.
I would like to apologize to our developers that had no ads running for a couple of hours and to our advertisers that didn’t get any new customers form us for the same time period.
The great news is that all of the issues have been identified and repaired. If anyone is having any problems or has any questions, please feel free to call me at 800-975-1537, extension 703.
The Zohark team appreciates all of our partners and we try very hard to minimize our downtime. To-date, we have only had a couple of minor outages and feel that the upgrades we have made will keep us stable for a long, long time.
